We recently got to celebrate with Sean and Autumn at their stunning wedding at Woodstock Farm in Bellingham, WA, complete with magnificent views of the Bellingham Bay, fresh blooms from our own cutting garden, and, of course, the loveliest couple. Thank you to RP Imagery for providing the marvelous photos that captured this day oh-so-beautifully!

Sean & Autumn’s Intimate Wedding at Woodstock Farm

A late summer bridal bouquet born from the cutting garden

We adored the late summer bridal bouquet we created for Autumn, featuring beauty from the Noctua Florals cutting garden and a couple of our favorite local growers! So much of our design work is rooted in the natural movement and life cycles of nature, specifically what we nurture and grow in our cutting garden. Spring through fall the garden is bursting at the seams with flowers and foliage alike as seen here- vibrant dahlias, elegant queen Anne’s lace, heirloom roses, dancing cosmos, textural elements like rudbeckia & amaranth…. Every year the list keeps growing!! Having this garden space allows us to grow unique, hard to find botanical treasures that we are able to exclusively offer to our clients, creating stunning, one-of-a-kind bouquets and floral arrangements. It really is a magical place the keeps us grounded and close to nature, and we are so grateful to be able to welcome our clients into this space through our floral design work!

For Autumn’s late summer bridal bouquet, we mixed a few of my personal favorite summer blooms, including our beloved Honey Dijon heirloom roses, vibrant dahlias, minimalist cosmos, elegant queen Anne’s lace, and locally-grown eucalyptus. The color palette was designed with the shades of late summer and early fall in mind, as the seasons transition from the bold & bright hues of summertime to the deeper, rich tones of fall. The organic blend of the color choices, a blend of softer white & creams, peach, honey, terracotta & rust tones, paired beautifully with Autumn’s lace dress; a simple yet delicate gown with elegant patterns and a whimsical, flowy skirt.

A spectacular triangular floral ceremony arch, overlooking the Bellingham Bay

There are SO many different & creative ways we can use florals to help enhance and celebrate your wedding ceremony. For Sean and Autumn’s late summer wedding, we wanted to complement (not block!) the incredible water view, while still seeking to create a focal point for this special moment in time. The answer? A stunning triangular floral ceremony arch with a lush asymmetrical floral design! For each unique ceremony, we seek to create an experience through florals that speaks uniquely to YOU and your loved ones- and compliments that space in which you are sharing your vows.

A big thank you to Wander Event Rentals for providing the gorgeous rentals that really brought Sean and Autumn’s visions for their wedding to life!

If you love this asymmetrical ceremony arch just as much as we do, we know you’ll also love the gorgeous curved arch we got to play around with at this Modern & Elegant Spring Wedding at Christianson’s Nursery!
